Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices across customer sites in Dublin. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that equipment operates safely, effectively, and efficiently, contributing to exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission medical devices, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Provide routine preventative maintenance to maximize device reliability and minimize downtime.

• Respond to emergency repair requests, diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly.

• Deliver training to healthcare professionals on device operation and maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, parts usage, and updates to customer files.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and professional support.

• Stay informed about advancements in medical device technologies and company product updates.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in engineering (electrical, mechanical, biomedical, or related discipline).

• Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer role, ideally in the medical device industry.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with medical device safety and regulatory standards is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• Self-motivated, well-organised, and capable of working independently.

• Flexibility to travel within Dublin and occasionally further afield.

• Full, clean driver’s license.
