Role Overview
As an Orthopedic Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and supporting the company’s range of orthopedic medical supplies in the Cork region. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s orthopedic product portfolio, including features, benefits, and applications.

  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, physiotherapists, and procurement teams.

  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to educate clients on product usage and benefits.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and achieve sales targets.

  • Provide technical support during product trials and procedures to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies for market penetration.

Requirements

  • A background in healthcare, medical devices, or a related field (degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or Physiotherapy preferred).

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or product specialist roles within the medical supplies industry, ideally with orthopedic products.

  • Strong technical knowledge of orthopedic devices and their clinical applications.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • A results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Willingness to travel within the Cork region and attend occasional national events or training.

  • A valid driver’s license.
