Role Overview
The Orthopedic Product Specialist will be responsible for promoting and supporting a range of orthopedic medical devices to healthcare professionals throughout Dublin and surrounding areas. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales capability, and excellent relationship-building skills to support surgeons and medical teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s orthopedic product portfolio, including features, applications, and clinical benefits.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams, and other healthcare professionals.

• Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to educate healthcare professionals on proper usage and benefits.

• Collaborate with surgeons during product trials and procedures, providing technical support and expertise.

• Drive sales by identifying opportunities for growth, acquiring new customers, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to position the company as a market leader.

• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or a related field is highly desirable.

• Previous experience in medical devices, particularly orthopedic products, or related healthcare sales.

• Strong understanding of surgical environments and the ability to communicate effectively with clinical professionals.

• Proven sales, account management, or product support experience with a track record of achieving targets.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.

• Flexibility to travel within Dublin and occasionally across Ireland.

• A valid driver’s license.
