Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Specialist who will play a key role in the promotion, education, and sales support of urology and gynaecology medical devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing product knowledge, delivering customer training, and providing in-the-field support for healthcare professionals and decision-makers. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of products within the urology and gynaecology specialties, ensuring the effective use of products in clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Knowledge & Expertise:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s urology and gynaecology product portfolio, including their clinical applications, features, and benefits.

    • Provide expert product training and demonstrations to surgeons, medical staff, and key decision-makers in hospitals and clinics.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical and technical queries, offering support on product applications and use.

  • Sales Support & Business Development:

    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and develop business opportunities for urology and gynaecology products.

    • Assist in the creation and execution of product presentations and demonstrations, promoting the value of the products to surgeons and healthcare institutions.

    • Provide post-sale support, including troubleshooting, feedback collection, and addressing customer needs to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationships.

  • Customer Education & Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including urology and gynaecology surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital decision-makers.

    • Educate healthcare professionals on the latest advancements and best practices in urology and gynaecology procedures, with a focus on the company’s product offerings.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in urology and gynaecology medical technologies and trends.

  • Market Insights & Feedback:

    • Gather customer feedback and insights on product performance, market trends, and competitive products, providing valuable input to the product development and marketing teams.

    • Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to help shape the strategic direction of the business.

  • Administrative & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, training sessions, and product usage reports.

    • Provide regular updates and reports to the sales and management teams on product performance, sales activities, and market conditions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a product specialist, sales support, or clinical support role within the medical device industry, ideally with a focus on urology or gynaecology products.

  • Strong understanding of urology and/or gynaecology medical devices, procedures, and clinical applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate medical professionals effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, healthcare professionals, and hospital staff.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical support.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide solutions in clinical and sales environments.

  • A background in life sciences, nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential.

  • Willingness to travel within the region as required to support customers and business activities.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
