We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team, supporting clients across the Munster region.

Role Overview
As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective installation, maintenance, and support of cutting-edge medical devices. Working closely with healthcare professionals, you will deliver exceptional technical expertise while building strong relationships to support their critical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission advanced medical devices at healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to optimize device functionality and minimize downtime.

• Respond promptly to service calls, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively.

• Deliver training sessions to healthcare professionals on the operation and care of devices, ensuring confidence in their usage.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, building and maintaining relationships with clients, including surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital administrators.

• Maintain detailed records of service activities, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory management.

• Stay updated on advancements in medical device technology and ensure familiarity with the company’s product portfolio.

• Support the sales team by providing technical insights during product demonstrations and trials.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Degree or certification in engineering (electrical, mechanical, biomedical, or a related discipline).

• Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer role, ideally within the medical device or healthcare industry.

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements for medical devices is highly advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a focus on customer service.

• Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule across the Munster region.

• Full, clean driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
