Salary: €50,000–€55,000 DOE

Grey Wave is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of medical devices, equipment, and consumables to the Irish healthcare market. Our client is recognised for delivering trusted, high-performance products to hospitals and surgical teams across Ireland.

We are seeking a passionate and driven Operating Room Sales Specialist to join their Dublin-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a clinical or technical background looking to step into a consultative sales role within the fast-paced surgical environment.

About the Role

As an Operating Room Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with surgical teams and procurement departments in hospitals. You’ll provide expert knowledge on a portfolio of products used in operating theatres, support product trials, and offer in-theatre guidance during procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a range of high-quality surgical products and medical devices

  • Provide in-theatre support, product demonstrations, and staff training

  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and procurement professionals

  • Identify new opportunities to grow market share and meet sales targets

  • Stay informed on competitor products and emerging industry trends

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and delivery

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a surgical sales role or clinical background (e.g., scrub nurse, ODP, biomedical)

  • Understanding of operating room protocols and medical device usage

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Motivated, organised, and able to work independently

  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within Leinster
