Location: Ireland (Field-based / Nationwide)
Salary: €60,000 DOE

Grey Wave is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a market leader in the supply and servicing of equipment, reagents, and consumables across the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Industrial, and Pharmacy sectors. With a reputation for quality, innovation, and service excellence, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Surgical Sales Specialist to join their high-performing team.

About the Role

As a Surgical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting a portfolio of advanced surgical solutions and capital equipment to healthcare professionals across public and private hospitals. This role combines sales expertise with clinical insight, requiring strong product knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a passion for healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, and procurement teams

  • Drive sales of surgical equipment, consumables, and related technologies

  • Deliver effective product presentations, demos, and clinical support

  • Identify new business opportunities and drive territory growth

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and service excellence

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and product innovation

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in medical or surgical sales, ideally with a focus on operating theatre or clinical environments

  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement and clinical decision-making processes

  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised

  • Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel nationwide
